Debbie Mitchell

Debbie trained at one of Scotland’s most prestigious stage schools, the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts (GAMTA) where she gained her associate teaching award with the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD.) Debbie went onto continue her training at Motherwell College, the first European Voice Training System Educational Affiliate. She graduated in 2011 with a BA Honours in Musical Theatre. Debbie worked for Razzamataz in 2011 in Tenerife, and has since gone on to become manager of the Contract between Razzamataz and First Choice and became manager of Razzamataz Carlisle in 2012 as well as teaching drama, dance and singing at Razzamataz schools in Dumfries and Penrith. In April 2016 Debbie became owner and principal of Razzamataz Carlisle, taking over from Denise Hutton Gosney who launched the school in 2001. Debbie is passionate about encouraging her students to progress their performing dreams and achieve their full potential. Debbie also works for Razzamataz Head Office as an events manager and trainer.
Rebecca Waters
Singing Teacher
Rebecca recently graduated with a BA (hons) in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Lancashire. She has been performing since the age of 5, and first learnt the tricks of her trade here at Razzamataz Carlisle. Rebecca taught for Razzamataz overseas in 2011,2012 and 2013 and is currently studying a PGCE in primary education. She is delighted to continue teaching in Carlisle and can’t wait to meet our budding stars of tomorrow!
Rikki Inglesfield
Drama Teacher
Rikki Inglesfield is our Drama Teacher; Rikki has worked for Razzamataz previously as cover drama teacher and is excited to commence her permanent role. Rikki teaches drama and theatre at William Howard School and holds a PGCE specialising in drama and theatre.
Lauren Kirkbride
Dance Teacher
Lauren studied dance at Liverpool John Moores University where she gained a first class degree in Dance Practices. She trained in various types of dance such as Contemporary, Street Dance, Jazz, and Ballet, participated in workshops with guest choreographers, led workshops in primary and secondary schools across Liverpool and performed in annual shows and events.
During the summers of 2011 and 2012 Lauren was lucky enough to work for Razzamataz and First Choice delivering exciting dance classes for junior guests in holiday villages Majorca and Turkey. Upon leaving University Lauren now teaches dance and fitness in schools across Cumbria and is very excited to be a part of Razzamataz Carlisle!
