50 years after the hit film was released, Razzamatazs love affair with the Sound of Music continues.  Resident director and choreographer of the show, Jonny Bowles led a day of masterclasses with the students of Razz Carlisle.

Jonny has choreographed and performed in a host of shows including Billy Elliot The Musical, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, Coppelia, The Royal Variety Show, A Chorus Line and Wizard of Oz to name just a few.

During the workshop, Jonny taught the students excerpts from the well-loved show. He also gave them tips about how to make it as a professional performer and how to improve their performance technique.

“It was a pleasure bringing some of my West End performing arts experience to Carlisle to share with the students of Razzamataz,” says Jonny. “The children really impressed me with their professional and mature behaviour and they were all so keen to be involved.”
