For one night only, the West End stars of The Phantom of the Opera made way for part-time theatre school Razzamataz Carlisle to take part in a special gala performance which showcased the talented youngsters and brought the house down with their take on the hit musicals ‘Matilda’ and ‘Annie.’ |
The 2 casts brought to life the incredible songs and storytelling that had the audience cheering along with the young performers. Razzamataz Carlisle joined 11 of the other Razzamataz schools throughout the UK to create the special gala performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 13th November. |
“There are not many people who can say that they have performed on a West End stage,” adds Debbie Mitchell, principal of Razzamataz Carlisle. “The students really stepped up to the challenge of performing in such a large and famous theatre and this was an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.” |
Students of Razzamataz Carlisle will be given the chance to perform at another magnificent venue next year when they travel to Disneyland Paris to perform in an exclusive showcase and dance in the famous Disney parade! |
