Welcome to Term 3 at Razz Carlisle!

Welcome back! I can’t quite believe it is term 3 already! We hope you all had a lovely Easter break. Razzamataz fun was in full swing over the holidays with our ‘GREATEST’ Easter School and our Inters and Seniors Matilda trip, a huge well done to everyone who took part, we hope you learnt lots and had a lot of fun in the process! This term will be focused on working towards our exciting showcase; ‘Thank You For the Music!’ This term we are excited to be opening our annual scholarship competition in association with ‘The Stage’ Newspaper. We are also busy preparing for our big fundraising show; Strictly Come Razzing! Everyone involved has worked so hard to make this a fantastic show so please do come along and support the show, with tickets from as little as £5 you’d be mad to miss it. More details on the below. We have a wealth of talent here at Razzamataz and we can’t wait to show it off in an all singing, all dancing extravaganza!

We are thrilled to let you all know that Head of Dance Lauren and her partner John are expecting a beautiful baby boy in September. Lauren will be on maternity leave in Term 1 and we will have the wonderful dance teacher from Razzamataz Penrith covering Laurens Saturday classes and our Phase 1 Intense teacher Anna stepping into Laurens role with Phase 2 on a Tuesday. A huge congratulations from all of us at Razz Carlisle, we are so thrilled for you both!

Razzamataz are proud to be teaming up with the Stage Newspaper to offer scholarships at all of our schools in the UK. How do I enter? Simply fill in the application form, found on the here, and send in a 2 minute video performing a short dance, song or drama piece. Videos do not need to be professionally filmed and should be sent to Carlisle@razzamataz.co.uk. The Competition is open to current and non-Razzamataz students aged 8-16 years.

Razzamataz Summer School 2019

We are so excited to bring you 5 days in the Summer Holidays jam packed with Dance, Singing, Drama, Arts & Crafts & much more! Based around the hit musical and Disney classic The Lion King! 4 to 7 years – 10am to 1pm –£75, 8 to 18 years – 10am – 4pm – £130. A £10 deposit will be required at time of booking. We are so excited about our big 2019 fundraiser Strictly Come Razzing, bringing together some of our amazing Razz teachers and Razz parents in a spectacular dance showcase guaranteed to entertain audiences. Have you got your tickets yet? It’s not to late to support this amazing event, you can buy tickets from reception. We are also kindly asking for sponsorship and raffle prize donations. Raffle tickets for those who can’t make it will be onsale at Razz ahead of show weekend. All monies raised will be donated to our chosen charities close to the participants hearts.
